Run For Another: Janji Fall Zip-Up for Cooler Runs

Not long ago, I was approached by a company called Janji who’s mission is one that I can’t help but love. Janji’s story is this:

Runners require proper hydration and ample nutrition to train, run 5Ks and finish marathons. At the same time, millions of people around the world lack the basic necessities for survival. We can change that.

In short, Janji creates apparel for running and fitness needs while also providing food and water to those in less fortunate circumstances using the funds they make. It’s pretty awesome, and if you ask me, they give the rest of us something to aspire to.

I was fortunate enough to receive an awesome Janji running zip up for the fall a few weeks ago to try out. I have worn / written about it long ago had it not been for the abnormally warm weather that crept well into October. And of course, I went to Africa at the end of October through the beginning of November. So really, this has been the first week in which I’ve truly needed to gear up for cooler morning runs.

The pull-over I got to try turned out to be great. The medium size shirt fit perfectly (I dislike tight running clothes, so I typically order the size up), and the fabric was cozy and breathable — perfect for midway through a brisk run, once your body has begun to warm up. If you haven’t heard of Janji yet, I highly suggest checking them out.

In other news, we can file this next find under the best white t-shirt ever. (White t-shirts = swoon.) I snagged it at the Elizabeth and James sample sale, and it’s BEDAZZLED on the shoulders. (No judgement.)

Viva la shopping.
