Philadelphia Rock n’ Roll Half Marathon, September 16, 2012 (2:23)
What I realized at that moment was that even those who claim to be apathetic about time and speed and distance (it must be in the blood) can find the desire — the need — to do better, to push harder, to achieve more when faced with race results. (Read the rest here.)

Governors Island 10k, June 24th, 2012 (58:43)
Otherwise known as, the day I blew my race goals by running 10 miles the day before. But it was fun! Highly recommend this race if you’re in Manhattan. It’s much smaller than all the NYRR clusterf*cks and you get North Face drinking bottles galore. (Read the rest here.)

More/Fitness Half Marathon, April 15, 2012 (2:08:14)
A PR and PDR (after running just under 2 miles to the race) made the More/Fitness Half Marathon even more memorable than I could have ever imagined. Sure, my goal is to eventually run a sub 2 half. But with the Hills of Central Park and the 2 extra miles, I’m honored to have even broken my first half marathon pace and finish at 2:08:14. (Read the rest here.)

Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run, April 1, 2012 (1:35:20)
Instead, after pushing myself pretty hard for the duration of the run, I finished in 1:35:20. Actually, I finished the first 5 miles in 50 minutes, which means I ran the second half of the race in about 9-minute miles. (Read the rest here.)

Manhattan Half Marathon, January 2012 (untimed due to weather)
“It was like running a race in a snow globe; Mother Nature’s version of glitter.” (Read the rest here.)

Queens Half Marathon, August 2011 (2:11)
